What is Profhilo?

Through a unique and innovative thermal production process patented by IBSA, PROFHILO® is developed by obtaining thermally cross-linked stabilized hybrid cooperative complexes (HCC) of high hyaluronic acid(HA) concentration (64mg/2ml). This allows high and low molecular weight HA to link together and to be released slowly and dissipate evenly
under the skin without lumpiness.

 

Not only that, the concentration of HA in Profhilo is 5x more than the average skinbooster! In addition, it does not contain additives such as BDDE or Lycodine, which usually exist in traditional filler.

One of the greatest benefits of Profhilo is the ‘almost painless’ procedure because it only requires 5 points injection with ultra fine needle on each side of the face (compared to traditional skin booster which requires more than 30 injections on each side of face). With numbing cream, patients feel minimal pain throughout the procedure.

A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment areas for 20 minutes prior to the injections to numb the skin. Once the area is fully numbed, the actual injection process takes around 10 minutes depending on the number of injection points. Our experienced doctor work quickly and gently to administer the microscopic amounts of Profhilo smoothly across the treatment areas.

There may be some minor and temporary bumps or swelling on the face for about 24 hours after the injections which typically subside within 1 day post-treatment as the hyaluronic acid is absorbed into the skin.

In the days and weeks following the treatment sessions, you may start noticing subtle improvements in the look and feel of your skin as the regenerative process begins.

With the completion of 3 sessions, most patients notice continuing improvements for up to 6 months after the last Profhilo session. Many experts consider the effects to last around 1 year.

Profhilo is composed of 100% pure hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally exists in the body, there are usually no side effects or allergic reactions associated with the treatment since it is highly biocompatible with human tissues.
